FAQs
Is my Pure Water 2 Go bottle dishwasher safe?
Yes, the bottle is dishwasher safe, top shelf of the dishwasher only, and BOTTLE ONLY. FILTERS, TOPS AND CAPS SHOULD NEVER BE PUT INTO A DISHWASHER. Tops and caps can be handwashed and rinsed. Filters require no cleaning.
All personal filtration bottles manufactured by Pure Water Global Inc can be hand washed. The filter should only be rinsed with clean water but all other components can be washed with soap and warm water or chlorinated warm water
Please note: Each time the water bottle is filled with chlorinated water from a city water supply the components including the filter are disinfected.
If customers fill their bottles on a regular basis from a non-chlorinated water supply or if the customer wishes to insure their bottle is contaminant free they can purchase chlorine tablets from PWG and use them periodically per the instructions
How long will my Pure Water 2 Go filter last?
Pure Water 2 Go filters are effective for 80+ gallons, which is 3 months of normal use. The great news is that all Pure Water 2 Go filters are easily replaceable, and our bottles are built to last for years of use.
How do I know when to replace my Pure Water 2 Go filter?
Your filter is fully effective for 80+ gallons. When use goes past 80 gallons, the filter slowly becomes less efficient. The easiest way to tell this is happening is taste. The filtered water becomes less delicious, and it’s time to change your filter. We recommend changing the filter every 3 months.
Can I use river water in my Pure Water 2 Go bottle?
Yes, you can with our BIO bottle. If viral contamination is suspected, you will need a disinfectant (for example, a chlorine tablet). METRO and ECO are intended for tap water ONLY, and should not be used with water of an unknown source.
